Hask Argan Oil Hair Treatment - £2.50 Primark

Hey dolls! As I mentioned in one of my recent posts, I've become a little obsessed with oils recently. Hair oils, body oils, nail oils - you name it, I love them. Something which is an absolute staple in my haircare routine is argan and moroccon oil. They really do make the world of difference to your hair, leaving it sleek, shiny and in all round better condition. I have to admit that I've tried my fair share, so buying anymore wasn't really necessary. But the Hask Argan Oil was an absolute steal at only £2.50 for the tube. Good old trusty Primark! It comes in a plastic brown opaque tube with a blue pop top lid. Definitely not ideal if you're travelling although it's really compact. I had an accident with my previous tube where the lid popped off and it leaked inside my vanity case - well that experience was horrific to say the least, but it didn't stop me from repurchasing it.

The only way I can describe the scent of this is that it's identical to Terrys chocolate orange - amazing. I find that the scent lingers for quite a long period of time, at least until the next time I apply it. It's not an overly greasy formula and it definitely doesn't weigh hair down, it's more of a watery like texture, but still has the same effect on my hair higher end brands do. It says it can be used on wet or dry hair, I've never personally used it on my own hair dry but it does work wonders on hair extensions. The oil itself softens the cuticles of the hair due to the added keratin which leaves it feeling silky soft and easy to style. I'm not usually a fan of freshly washed hair when it comes to styling as I find it quite unmanageable but after using this it leaves a nice enough consistency to style as normal.

I'm really impressed by this little gem. I'll definitely repurchase this time and time again, or at least until Primark discontinue it. I find it to have become a real staple in my haircare routine and can definitely tell the difference in the look and feel of my hair if I hadn't used it. You need the smallest amount to cover the mid lengths and ends of the hair, so a tube of this size will last a good while. Have you tried this type of Argan oil?Do you find that if you spend more on oils they have a better result?

Boxing Day Sales - What Did I Buy?

Hello Girls! It's all over for another year. Christmas 2012 was amazing, I had such a special day with my family and got some amazing presents! I hope you all had a great day and you ate and drunk your body weight surrounded by the people you love. I was planning to do a separate post showing you what I got for Christmas in the next few days but thought I'd show you some of the goodies I managed to pick up in the Boxing Day sales first.

Getting up at 6am is a tradition for me, I love the whole excitement of queung up anxiously waiting to see what the stores have on offer. I ran straight to River Island and picked myself up two purses, a bag, leggings and a watch. I have mentioned I had been lusting over the Michael Kors rose gold watch but I didn't get one under the tree because my Mum wasn't sure which one I liked. However I picked up an amazing dupe of the one i wanted for £28 and I love it. I ran to New Look and picked up the cutest pair of quilted shoe boots for a bargainous £10 down from £35 along with a studded collar shirt and a cute new onesie (not that I needed a new one!).

Primark was slightly disappointing. I wasn't expecting a sale as it's dirt cheap which you'll know if you live in the UK, but there wasn't too much that screamed wow at me. I think my favourite purchase was the beige structured tote bag which is very similar to the one from Zara but just a fraction of the price at £12. I also picked up some tops and a small umbrella which I quite liked because of the stud detail on the fastener. 

Debenhams really disappointed me. I expected a much better sale on the make-up but there was no sale on cosmetics so I only picked up one YSL lipstick and used a voucher to pick up Hypnotic Poison by Dior which is such a gorgeous perfume and perfect for evenings. I stopped by a beauty retailer and saw that my favourite perfume Alien by Thierry Mugler was half price. I was lucky enough to receive some as a Christmas present but I felt it was an investment buy and bought two. So I now have three bottles which should last me a while!

Hi Ladies, how are we all? Autumn is well on the way and the fur coats and chunky knits have been pulled out from the back of the warbrobe. It's that time of the month again where my favourite products from the past 30 days get their 15 minutes of fame and I tell you what I've been absolutely loving and raving about.

Molton Brown Soothing Hand Lotion rrp £16.00 ♥

To me, there's nothing worse than dry, cracked and unloved hands in Winter. It's easy to cover them up with a pair of mittens but when they come off it can be sickening if you don't use some kind of hand cream to look after them. I was lucky enough to be given this bottle of Molton Brown hand cream as a present last Christmas, and I still haven't managed to finish it! It smells absolutely gorgeous and transforms dry hands into silky mitts.

Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Airbrush Self Tanner RRP £14.99 ♥

I'm not long back from my holiday in Marbella and luckily I have an olive skin tone which means my colour lasts all year round. To maintain that 'just stepped off the plane' look, I top up my tan every week or so with this baby. The love for my St Moriz has slightly fizzled out (sigh) and this is a great replacement for a golden streak free tan. The only downside is the smell. It smells so bad, but the results make it all worthwhile!

Radox Soft Care Bath Cream RRP £1.49♥

I love me a good old bubble bath, and wouldn't think twice about using something from Radox. I've tried everything from the stress relief soak to the moisture soak and this one is by far the best. It smells amazing, and it's thick texture means a little really does go a long way (I found that out when I left my bath running unattended and the bubbles spilled over the top of the bath). I pick all Radox bubble baths up for a tiny £1.00 from my local chemist, so you can imagine how enormous my collection is.

Faux Fur Collar Chocolate Leather Jacket RRP £25 Primark ♥

I'm an absolute sucker for anything with a fur trim! While picking up some bits and bobs from Primark, I noticed this lovely number. I'm not really one to wear leather jackets, but
loved this once so much it had to be bought! For a measly £25 you can't go wrong. What an absolute bargain.

Panther Gold Diamante Stud Earrings RRP £4.99 Forever 21 ♥

My favourite place to buy clothes from is Forever 21, their stuff is absolutely gorgeous. I often find myself getting lost for hours in the accessory section, and I picked up these to add a bit of bling to my everyday wardrobe. I love anything gold and embellished, so these ticked all the boxes for me.
